They’re off !!

The Team all met as Oslo Torp airport where Mac and Jim where waiting for Chris, Andy, Jack and Will to exit the arrivals hall.

The excited team admired the two Land Rovers with their logos emblazoned all over the body work. First stop was the Oslo Land Rover dealership where Kristin Guttormsen, the manager welcomed us in true Norwegian style, she gave a very firm handshake and invited us to make full use of their premises and help ourselves to coffee and pastries.

The team busied themselves repacking the vehicles, giving them a final check over, sequencing the maps and starting the filming. The start time came all too quickly and we were off at 1800 CET.

The daylight faded fast as they headed south on the E18 out of Oslo towards Gothenberg. The setting sun on the autumnal colours gave a golden glow to the Sea as a beautiful backdrop as they drove on into the night.

Fittingly they passed Moss, the town, not the man, after an hours drive. The road is smooth, the Land Rovers are purring and spirits are high.
