BBC Radio Oxford - Live Interview

29th Sep 2009

BBC Radio Oxford

Mac and Chris visited the studios of BBC Radio Oxford to be interviewed live by Jo Thoenes during her afternoon programme.

The guys chatted about their forthcoming practise drive around Europe in preparation for the 10,000 mile run to Cape Town. Jo, having been brought up in Kenya knew first hand what conditions we would be up against.

Mac's 18 month old daughter, Sophie, accomapnied the adventurous duo to the station and decided to have an adventure of her own. During the half hour interview while live on air, a message flashed up on Jo's computer from her producer to say that Sophie had a 'nappy emergency!' During the length of just one song (3 minutes), Mac had to dash outside and deal with the offending item - he reappeared in the studio, breathless having been overcome by the noxious fumes, but proud of his new high-speed nappy changing record!
