Well yesterday saw the TV Producer......on radio! And most enjoyable it was too.
Here in Suffolk where I live, Radio Suffolk and in Particular Lesley Dolphin are very well repected and much listened to. I dropped Lesley an email and she very kindly agreed to have us on the show, which was super. Her super assistant Darren phoned thorugh a slot and yesterday Lesley and I had a great chat on air, which I very much enjoyed. She is really interested in what the local community are up to here in these parts and asked lots of great questions while being genuinly nterested in what we are trying to achieve. Very kindly the show are going to follow our progress, so we'll be chatting again next wednesday 14th October at 13.20 when we'll report on our progress - hopefully somewhere near Switzerland or maybe even past there if we are going well.
Lesley has also kindly asked us to come into the studio after our training drive nearer Christmas to tell more of the main drive. Thanks Lesley!
